Hi, I am very new to Sharepoint development and have been asked to update some work a previous developer had done in Sharepoint 2010 in creating a custom web service (asmx) as a target for the Send-To function for sending documents and their metadata in Sharepoint to an external application. I must now implement this in Sharepoint Online. However, when I try to set up this target in Sharepoint online I get the error "Verification failed: URL is not a valid routing destination".
No indication of what is wrong and all the doc I have been reading talk about sending to a Sharepoint document repository. Has the feature to send externally been changed or deprecated? Is there any documentation that describes what kind of interface a send to target should implement?
