Hi all,

We have a teamsite in classic mode and within that site I have setup a Current User Filter which filters a Document Library webpart based on current user properties e.g. Location. This works fine currently but was wondering how I would approach this in the modern teamsite? Something I woud have to wait for MS to roll out? or is it something I can acheive currently?

As always, advice much appreciated.

Classic Web Parts, among which the Current User Filter Web Part, are not available for use in modern Team Sites. You can wait for something new to be rolled out by MS or build a new SPFx-based Web Part to achieve your goal.

Maybe samples already exist that bring you close to where you want to be:

Or alternatively develop such WebPart / Ask a developer to do it

Thanks both, Yes I am thinking it looks like a development task.
