Copy and past into SharePoint 2013 Publishing HTML field

When copying and pasting text and pictures e.g. from an email into a publishing HTML field everything looks ok for the user. However, the pictures are not really stored in SharePoint, but loaded into the user´s local c:/temp directory causing only the uploading user to see the pictures and the danger of deleting them when cleaning the temp directory.

Is there a way to change this behavior so that the pictures are uploaded as files into the site? Preferable allowing the user to copy and paste as he is used to.

This has always been a bit of an issue. Technically it is understandable that when you copy html to html that only the html is copied and additional artifacts are not.

Uploading the images and adding them manually in is the only option that I am aware of.
