Change Default Page Banner Image inside a Modern Page

Is there a way for me to replace the default page banner image on modern pages to my own image without doing it manually every time i create a page?

Unfortunately no. Modern pages templates is a feature that should come at some point allowing this scenario, but we don't know when it will come
