Cascading Drop Down Lists in SharePoint

Hello Folks,

We have a requirement to implement a multi select cascading list.

as far as possible we would like to do this without code and without infopath.

Is it possible to do so, if yes can one of you throw some light on how it can be done?

To get this feature, you need coding...and please, avoid using InfoPath
