Hi everyone,

I've been trying to create an external content type through visual studio, for use as bcs model in SharePoint external lists. When I try to connect to an oData service (NAV webservice) the authentication keeps popping up after I try to connect to the oData source. I think it doesn't even know what to sign i to, I used the right password etc. Anyone has an idea how to handle authentication in external content types using visual studio, like passing it in a URL or a code-snippet which does the same thing as the pre-built button "add external content type". I used the following tutorial to create one -> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/general-development/how-to-create-an-external-conten...   the tutorial works when I try it with an open odata source, but not with credentials, like my nav-webservice. See pictures below for what I encounter. Any advise would be a great help!
