Adding CEWP to modern list view page

Copper Contributor

Hello All,

We are migrating from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online to use modern experience. In the source (SP 2010) list view page, there is a content editor web part with static HTML content. How should I replicate the same in SP Online page in list view (i.e. /Forms/AllItems.aspx).

If not possible OOTB way, what should be the approach to achieve this?

Thanks,

There is not a content editor replacement in modern SPO, but I would recommend you to take a look at this document: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/blogs/modernize-your-sharepoint-pages/
As Juan said there is nothing for Modern UI, and Microsoft has pretty much said they don't want to supply these for us. There is a uservoice asking for it: https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/32122990-modern-c...

There are some custom spfx solutions you can easily download and add to your sites to allow scripting etc. Take a look at these open source soltions form the SharePoint github: https://github.com/SharePoint/sp-dev-fx-webparts/tree/master/samples/react-script-editor
