What is the maximum number of sensitive Information types which can be applied to a rule?

Is there a maximum number of sensitive information types that can be applied to a single DPL rule?

Hi,

I don't belive that there is but more it's a about how you want to protect the content and create rules based on those.

Ofcourse you can mix the conditions but then you could be having the wrong policy winning and actions on that.

Here is a reference for defining sensitivy types https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/sensitive-information-type-learn-about

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the response @HarriJaakkonen. I believe the question I am asking is; is a limit to the number of different sensitive information types which can be used in a single DLP rule/policy?

@Redman_red there is a limit of 100 inclusions or exclusions in a DLP policy.

You are welcome. I also believe, but cannot find it presently, there is a limit of 1500 Sensitive Information Types in O365--which seems like a tremendous number of SITs.
