Our community programs enable our customers to directly connect with Microsoft engineers and other security professionals.

In the last five years, Microsoft has increased the emphasis on community programs. In this blog, we will share more about our community programs and how to join.

What is community?

First let’s cover what community is. Our community programs enable our customers/end-users to directly connect with Microsoft engineers and other security professionals. In this program, Microsoft shares best practices, what’s new, and what’s under development, while our members share their related product experiences, needs, and recommendations. Microsoft uses this program to put the customer at the center of product development and ultimately create better products and solutions.

Solution areas covered:

  • Microsoft Threat Protection Products (SIEM & XDR, CNAPP, & Network Security)
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Microsoft Intune, Windows Cloud, and Windows Commercial
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Security Copilot

Joining the Community:

Community is a great place for any person to learn more about our products, what is new, and develop their expertise on these solutions and use cases. Within Microsoft Security, we have several community spaces we encourage you to join. Learn more about our products, view the newest technical content, and view opportunities to engage directly with our product engineering teams through webinars and events.
