As an administrator, am I able to see what files have been shared externally by users through the Android SharePoint app?

For example, if a document is shared externally via WhatsApp then should that be appearing in the audit log? I cannot see any such entries at the moment.

What does Whatapp have to do with SharePoint? If the user shares the file directly out of his ODFB drive or a SPO library, you should see it in the audit log. If the file was downloaded and transferred via any other means, you will not.
