In exploring features in O365 Security and Compliance, a few questions has come up.
1) Is there a limit as to how many DLP policies can be implemented?
2) Is there a limit as to how many Retention policies can be implemented? If so, does limits include Label Policies as well?
- the Microsoft Support article posted at https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Overview-of-retention-policies-5e377752-700d-4870-9b6d-12bf... indicated "10 org-wide policies" So, technically, we are limited to 10 retention policies regardless per tenant.
Any clarifications would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

"Org-wide" here means policies that apply to ALL users across ALL workloads. You can have more than 10 "granular" policies.

Thank you for the response Vasil. Is DLP part of that 10 "org-wide" policy as the others? Just curious if there are limits as well.

Well, we have two sorts of DLP now. I know the old, Exchange-style one is subject to the overall Transport rule limit. Not sure about the new ones.
@TonyRedmond is better at keeping track of such things.
