Hi folks,
We’re happy to announce that we’ve released updates to the RMS sharing apps for Android, iOS, and Mac, and Windows.
iOS, Android, and OS X apps:
-
iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite Support
- with the recent update of iOS and Mac sharing app respectively, we are now fully compliant with the new OS updates from Apple.
-
Better Troubleshooting
– No need to send us log files from the device if you encounter a problem in the app. After accepting the new diagnostics user consent your devices will automatically upload debugging information to your AD RMS or AzRMS services, which can be also enabled or disabled in the app settings (under our
privacy statement
).
-
Security improvements
– As you know, RMS sharing app can open protected documents from on-premises AD RMS servers (with Mobile Device Extensions). With this update, when a user accesses an AD RMS server he hasn’t contacted before, he will be prompted with a consent dialog which notifies him about the server URLs that he is going to trust and send his credentials to.
-
