Protection from javascript, exploits and more Microsoft Defender Windows 11 pro default enable?

Copper Contributor

Hi everyone,

I am writing here because it seems to me that there is no specific community available for defender on windows 11 pro.
As per object I wanted to know if Defender by default blocks the execution of malicious scripts while browsing with Edge.
By malicious scripts I mean javascript and all those intended as exploits.
I explored the settings present through the group policy and found the entry "exploit guard" but if I enable it it asks me to upload an xml file which I imagine should contain a set of rules.
I'm probably getting confused.
As written above I would like defender to automatically block the execution of javascript and similar of malicious origin and not all scripts.

Thank you all.
