We are excited to announce the public preview of Azure Purview’s workflow capabilities. With this feature, you can now enable self-service data access requests for data consumers in your organization. With a single click, a user will be able to submit a request to access data without worrying about the process or the parties involved in getting access to the data. They can also track their requests to understand the status of their request. As such, Azure Purview becomes the central tool where all these requests can be triggered and managed, irrespective of the type of data source.
The public preview of workflows also allows you to define the approval process for business glossary in your organization. This workflow will enable governance for the business glossary to achieve consistency and maintain standards across your organization.
