Hello everyone, this is Clark Nicholson from the Remote Desktop team. I am writing today to let you know that Microsoft Partner
MyCloudIT
has recently
announced
general availability of the
MyCloudIT App Service
on the
Azure Market Place
. The MyCloudIT App Service provides a simple but flexible web interface to automatically deploy and manage Remote Desktop Services (RDS) in Azure virtual machines. This enables Managed Service Provider (MSP) administrators to deliver desktop hosting services from Azure for their business customers.
An MSP administrator uses the MyCloudIT App Service to configure the parameters of a hosted desktop deployment, such as the number of users, storage size, and level of availability. As the hosted desktop deployment is being configured, the App Service displays an estimate of the cost and provides mechanisms to reduce costs. Once the deployment is configured, the service automatically deploys RDS and the associated Windows Server roles and Azure services required for a complete hosted desktop deployment. The RDS deployment is created using the MSP’s Azure subscription so the administrator can manage the deployment using the MyCloudIT App Service or the Azure Management Portal.
For additional information about Remote Desktop Services in Azure virtual machines, see our
MSDN documentation
.
Note: Questions and comments are welcome. However, please DO NOT post a request for troubleshooting by using the comment tool at the end of this post. Instead, post a new thread in the
RDS & TS forum
