Message MC261351 - what is changing?

The subject message in the M365 Message Center states "This release enables Compliance Manager's comprehensive set of pre-built assessment templates to support any product or service that your organizations uses,",  we could already do this so I'm confused about what is actually changing. Can someone explain what new functionality we can expect?

My interpretation is that they are going to make visible the list of premium template options like CCPA that you can't see today. You'll now see all the templates, so that you know which ones to purchase as add-ons.
