I just watched the Feb 10 video on advanced data governance. We're struggling with content saved as part of Microsoft Groups (Teams, Planner, etc.). I was told that IT cannot see inside Teams or Groups the way they can regular SharePoint sites. But when she was creating a policy, it looked like the policy could be applied to content within Teams and Groups.
Where can I get some definitive information about what access IT has to content within Teams/Groups compared to regular SharePoint sites and how governance can be applied to them?

Both Teams and Groups are using SPO sites for document storage, so you can include them in your governance policies. Check the retention labels/policies documentation for more info: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Overview-of-retention-policies-5e377752-700d-4870-9b6d-12bf...
