How to apply (Step-by-step)

Step 1: Open the speaker form

Step 2: Submit your details

You'll be asked to provide information such as:

How to Register for & Join Events

How event registration works

Most Ananse Tech Community events are shared through the Microsoft Tech Community platform.
In addition, we provide a Microsoft Teams link so you can join the session directly.

Step 1: Open the event

Go to the Ananse Tech Community page on Microsoft Tech Community
Click on the event you want to attend

Step 2: Mark your interest or attendance

Click Interested or Attending

✅ This helps you:

Keep track of the event
Stay aware of updates or changes

Step 3: Get the Teams link (Most important step)

Inside the event details, you will see:

The Microsoft Teams meeting link

👉 Click this link at the time of the event to join the session

Step 4: (Optional but recommended) Add to your calendar

Some events may include:
- A calendar file, or
- Instructions to manually add the event

Step 5: Join the session

At the event time:

Click the Teams link
Join from:
- Your browser, or
- Microsoft Teams app

What is this community?

Ananse Tech Community is an official Microsoft Tech Community User Group. 👏😁
By joining, you’ll be able to follow our posts, see upcoming events, and stay informed about Microsoft‑focused learning sessions and career conversations.

Step 1: Sign in or create a Microsoft Tech Community account

Go to:
👉 Microsoft Tech Community User Groups

Click Sign In or Register.
You can use:

A Microsoft account, or
A work/personal email

✅ Creating an account is free.

Step 2: Find Ananse Tech Community

Use search or scroll through the User Groups directory
Look for Ananse Tech Community
Click the group name to open the group page

Step 3: Join the community

Click Join or Follow

Once you do this:

You'll start seeing posts and updates from the community
New announcements and events will appear in your Tech Community experience

Step 4: View and engage with events

When Ananse Tech Community publishes an event:

Open the event from the group page
Mark Interested or Attending
