Agents without owners

What actually distinguishers an agent without an owner? When looking at my registry a large number of agents have nothing showing up in the Owner column and yet they are not listed as Agents without owners. Even looking through the Graph API (https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/copilot/admin/catalog/packages) I see a lot of entries where the "ownerId" field is null. Why aren't these being listed as Agents without owners?

New rules now showing in Agent Management rules

I have created a new rule in the Agent management rules and there were no errors showing so it appears to have saved correctly. However, when I go back to the page, I do not see the new rule showing up. I have refreshed, done a hard refresh, as well as closing the page and going back in with no success. Any ideas how to get these to show up?

MS Office File Search Not Working

When I "search for a file" under the open command in MS Office, the file search returns everything but the file I'm looking for. I have to type in the entire file name in order to be able to click on the file I want to open, rather than writing part of the name and having the most relevant result stay at the top.

For instance, if I start typing a file name like "Spokane Receipts", typing in the beginning of SPOK will start to return the correct result. When I got to click on the file, the search changes to all types of files that are named nothing similar. Sometimes the correct file will be found under (show more results), but often its not. It won't reappear until I type out the entire file name. It doesn't make any sense, why would MS Office file search return results from the data inside of files rather then the file name first? Is there a way to correct this search process? I don't want things tangentially related to the word I'm typing, I'm looking only for the file name.

FSLogix Profile Analyzer – Identify bloated profiles and get actionable recommendations

I’d like to share a PowerShell script I’ve developed to help IT admins quickly analyze FSLogix user profiles on Windows 11 Enterprise, especially in environments with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, OneNote).

What the tool does:

- Analyzes FSLogix volume sizes and free space.

- Scans the entire user profile and lists the largest folders (including LocalAppData).

- Dives into Microsoft cache directories (Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) and shows their footprint in GB.

- Lists all Outlook OST files with their sizes.

- Generates a clean HTML report with tables and color-coded warnings.

- If certain thresholds are exceeded (e.g., Outlook cache > 5 GB), the report provides specific manual cleanup steps and direct links to Microsoft’s repair tools (SaRA, PST/OST repair, OneNote notebook fix, OneDrive sync troubleshooter).

- Automatically opens the relevant Explorer folders so the admin can immediately take action.

The goal is to reduce issues/problems caused by oversized FSLogix containers and to make troubleshooting more efficient.

To try it out, simply copy the code below, save it as a `.ps1` file (PowerShell 5.1 required), and run it locally on the target machine – no admin rights needed. The HTML report will automaticly showed in your standart browser.

Ownerless, Risky and Unmanaged agents aren't reflecting in Agent 365 in admin center

1. Ownerless, Risky, and Unmanaged agents are not appearing in Agent 365 Admin Center despite having the required Agent 365 license and appropriate administrative roles. Several agents have no active owner, and I even hard deleted the owner account to simulate an ownerless scenario, but the agents are still not being identified as ownerless.

2. Risky agent classification is also not working as expected. Conditional Access and Microsoft Purview policies have been configured, and the agents have performed activities that should trigger risk indicators, yet no agents are being categorized as risky in Agent 365.

3. All Microsoft-native agents, including Copilot Studio agents, Foundry agents, and Microsoft Copilot agents, are consistently displayed as Managed. Only externally connected agents are shown as Unmanaged. If external agents are correctly identified as unmanaged, why are Microsoft-native agents not being classified as unmanaged when they meet similar conditions?

Please let me know the solution to overcome this issue, Do I need to enable something which I missed or I lack permission.

I’m a fully paid Microsoft 365 / Copilot Pro subscriber, and I’m consistently seeing upgrade prompts, premium banners, and promotional messages across OneDrive and other Microsoft services — even though my account is already upgraded.These prompts create confusion and make it appear as if my subscription isn’t active, isn’t recognized, or needs to be repurchased. This feels misleading and causes unnecessary concern about billing accuracy, account status, and potential double charges.

I’m requesting that Microsoft:Accurately recognize paid accounts across all Services stop showing upgrade banners to users who already have premium Plans add a clear ON/OFF toggle to disable promotional Messages improve transparency around subscription status and Billing. I invite other users to share their experiences. If you’ve also seen upgrade prompts despite being fully paid, please speak up. The more voices we have, the more likely Microsoft will address this issue.Paid users deserve clarity, accuracy, and a user experience that respects their subscription — not one that feels confusing or like repeated upselling.

Does Agent 365's governance cover app-only/service-principal agents, or only delegated-user agents?

I've been digging through the Agent 365 documentation trying to understand the enforcement model for autonomous agents — specifically ones running under app-only/service-principal auth rather than a signed-in user session.

For Copilot Studio and Foundry agents built on Purview today, my understanding is that policy enforcement is tied to a human user token, and drops to audit-only when there's no delegated session behind the call. Does Agent 365's registry and governance layer change that specifically for the app-only case, or is it still primarily oriented around agents acting on behalf of a signed-in user?

Trying to understand whether this is a gap that's being actively closed or whether it's still open for headless/autonomous agent scenarios. Any docs, product team clarification, or real-world experience welcome.

Issue
In Copilot (Windows 11 / Microsoft 365), the search function performs a global search across all conversations, agents, and apps. There is currently no way to search within the active conversation only, and standard Ctrl + F does not work.

Impact

Long or technical chats are hard to reuse
Users must copy conversations outside Copilot just to search
This breaks a very common chat UX expectation

Feature request
Please add a conversation‑scoped search, for example:

A toggle: This conversation only / All conversations
Or enable Ctrl + F within the active chat

This would significantly improve Copilot usability for research, troubleshooting, and technical work

Office.com “All Apps” unreachable on mobile until you “Request Desktop Version”

Title: Unable to Access “All Apps” on [Office.com] from a Mobile Browser

Summary: When signing in to [Office.com] on a mobile device, users may be redirected to the App Store or Microsoft 365 mobile app page. Returning to the browser results in a mobile‑only version of [Office.com] where the standard navigation menu (including the “All Apps” option) is not available. Additional steps are required to force the desktop version so the full app launcher can be reached.

--- Symptoms

No 9‑dot “waffle” app launcher icon appears on [Office.com] when using a mobile browser.
After signing in, [Office.com] displays a simplified mobile page with no left navigation bar.
Selecting “All Apps” (once desktop mode is enabled) fails to redirect. • Users are unable to browse or launch the full list of Microsoft 365 apps.

--- Cause

[Office.com] detects a mobile device and forces a mobile‑optimized experience. Mobile redirection also occurs after being sent to the App Store or Microsoft 365 app download page during authentication. This prevents access to the desktop navigation UI, including the full “Apps” menu. --- Resolution / Workaround Follow the steps below to force the full desktop version of [Office.com] and successfully access the “All Apps” list.

Step 1 — Sign in normally

Open your mobile browser.
Navigate to https://office.com.
Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
If redirected to the App Store/Microsoft 365 app page, return to your browser.

Step 2 — Open the browser’s site‑options menu

In your address bar, tap the puzzle‑piece icon located beside the URL.
Inside that menu, tap the three dots ( … ) to expand options.
Select Request Desktop Version.

Step 3 — Re‑authenticate

[Office.com] will reload and may require you to sign in again.
After signing in, the mobile site may still appear.

Step 4 — Request the desktop version again

Tap the puzzle‑piece menu a second time.
Select Request Desktop Version again.
This time, [Office.com] will load the full desktop interface, including the left navigation bar.

Step 5 — Access the full apps list

In the left sidebar, select Apps.
The All Apps link in this menu may fail to redirect. This is expected.

Step 6 — Use a direct URL to reach All Apps

In the address bar, manually enter: https://office.com/apps
The page will load successfully.
Selecting All Apps from this page now works as expected.

Can Agent 365–registered 3rd-party agents be invoked outside MS 365 clients and still track usage?

Hello,

The documentation describes how to register a third-party agent with the Microsoft Agent 365 platform (for example an agent hosted on Google Cloud Run) in order to benefit from capabilities such as observability, governance, security, and centralized management.

Does this mean that users must access these agents through Microsoft 365 entry points (such as Copilot Chat, Teams, or other Microsoft clients) in order for those capabilities to apply?

Or can the same registered agent also be invoked and interacted with from third-party clients or external services (for example applications running in GCP) while still benefiting from Agent 365 features like observability, governance and/or security?

What if third party agent is registered to Agent 365, but it doesn't use EntraID? It's what observability, governance and/or security will be available then?

OBO Agents vs. Execute-as-User Agents: What Will Agent 365 provide?

It was mentioned during the AMA session that agents from the Microsoft ecosystem (Copilot Studio, Foundry, SharePoint) will be automatically onboarded into Agent 365. However, today many of these agents execute as users, and some may continue to operate this way indefinitely. In other words, they may never receive their own Entra ID agent identity and may never run using an On-Behalf-Of (OBO) model.

This raises an important question around observability, governance, and security.

If these agents do not have their own identity and continue to execute under user credentials, what capabilities will Agent 365 provide for them in terms of monitoring, governance, and security controls?

TL;DR:
It is still unclear what observability and governance features will be available for non-OBO agents - both within Agent 365 itself and through standard platform administration tools. A clear comparison between OBO agents and non-OBO agents in terms of visibility, governance, and security capabilities would be extremely helpful.

Since Agent 365 allows bringing in both first-party and third-party agents, I’m curious about the identity and licensing model.

If an agent is not using an Entra Agent Identity, will it still appear in Agent 365 observability or governance?

In other words, could organizations use Agent 365 mainly for central visibility, monitoring, and governance of agents, even if those agents don’t have their own identities?

And if that’s the case, does it mean companies could avoid needing a per-user Agent 365 license for every employee interacting with the agent?

In summary if a company doesn't need OBO features, just central visibility, can they still benefit from Agent 365?

Microsoft would benefit from offering a truly unified, multi-tenant console designed for MSPs and IT support providers, enabling them to manage multiple client organisations from a single interface.

This solution should support the integration of each client’s own domains, centralised administration across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID environments, granular delegation of permissions, and consolidated visibility into users, devices, licences, policies, and incidents.

Such a tool would significantly reduce operational complexity, strengthen security, and address a genuine need for partners who manage multiple tenants on a daily basis.

Partner Question on Agent 365

We are an ISV, and build solutions that are deployed on a Customers Azure Tenant. We are also in the marketplace. If we decide to make our solution "Agent 365 Enabled" (don't have a better word for it now), here are a few questions:
1. Will there be a special designation on the Microsoft Marketplace?
2. Will that incur additional ACR costs to my customer?
3. If customer decides not to have this observability turned on, do I need to control it in my packaged infrastructure deployment to toggle Yes/No?
