Hi All,

Need seeks for help. User are not able to open the customized learning module content with error msg as below. (Permission has been added to the user in Viva Learning)

What are the possible rootcause and how to fix it? Thanks

Error when using Viva Learning to disclose content to employees

We are an organization with approximately 400 employees that have an E5 license. (meaning people should be able to acces internal learning paths/content through Viva Learning.

As such we want to disclose an internal security awareness training listed on SharePoint through Viva learning.

For some reason our admins can open the security awareness training but our employees get an error stating the employee can not watch the content through viva and that they need to contact the admin:

All content is publicly accessible for all employees through our own SharePoint environment. Co-Pilot does not provide an answer? The error message does not disclose what the admin should change.

How can we fix this?

Teams - Viva Learning - Add to Calendar Error

Hi everyone, we have the Viva Learning module active in the on-prem teams app. Our Viva Learning is connected to Linkedin Learning. We use an on-prem Outlook exchange. When viewing a course and attempting to use 'add to calendar', we receive an error: "Not able to fetch the event details. Click on Add to calendar to try again".

Any thoughts on what might cause this error? There is no error code or additional details.

Unable to see created academies

The academy I created, following the steps provided by Microsoft, is not able to be viewed by anyone in the organization, despite it being made available to all learners. Not sure what to do here, can anyone help?

Can anyone advise why I cannot see the Learning Paths button on the left menu of admin tab in Viva Learning. I already have a Viva Suite license and correct permission assigned (knowledge admin).

I would appreciate any advice.

Can't complete "Intro to Prompts" in Copilot Academy – item marked as inactive or deleted

Hi everyone,

I'm going through the Microsoft Copilot Academy inside Viva Learning, and I'm stuck on Intro to Prompts. It shows up as In Progress, even though I've completed all visible modules within the learning path.

When I open the learning path, I see a message on some items saying:
"Couldn’t load as this item is inactive / deleted"

This seems to be preventing me from completing the full path. I've included a screenshot to show what it looks like.

Has anyone run into this? Is there a way to force completion or mark the learning path as done if the missing items are no longer available?

Viva Learning Home Screen Provider Not Recognized

The Viva Learning Home screen does not recognize the provider, so the content is not displayed on the screen.

The connection to the SharePoint site is normal. However, the content does not come out on the home screen because the provider is not recognized. Please let me know the solution

error adding Workday as a provider

Viva Learning as an activity source

Hello,

I'm exploring options to create a custom learning management system for my company. The first thing I would like to do is to pull data from Microsoft Viva Learning via the Microsoft Graph API, for example to see which courses the employees have completed. The next step will be to write that data on a SharePoint site.

However, the use cases described in the docs seem to implicate that the data should only flow from the LMS to Viva, and not in the opposite direction. Since Viva Learning has a UI for searching for and completing courses, I would like to use that activity data into my custom LMS.

Is this use case possible and does it make sense?

Adding SF as Content Source

Hello, can I get some help? I'm trying to add SAP SF as a content source and stuck on step 1. Are there specific steps to follow to generate the PGP keys? I do not have the information for previous PGP keys, do I need to create new PGP keys within SF before I can generate on Viva?

Will Viva Learning learning paths be able to have .aspx files in them in future?

Microsoft's documentation cites the following file types can be exposed in a learning path in Viva Learning when they are hosted on a SharePoint site and SharePoint has been added to Viva Learning as a content source:- • Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF • Audio (.m4a, .mp3) • Video (.mov, .mp4, .avi) Will .aspx files be added to this list in future so that SharePoint pages can exposed in Viva Learning learning paths too? Many people will have written training and informational content directly as SharePoint .asp pages. Not being able to expose these in Viva Learning is a major drawback to using Viva Learning currently.

The work-around of having a Word doc or PowerPoint .ppt having links to SharePoint pages only works if users have a Viva Learning or Viva Suite licence. This is no consolation to us as our users don't have these licences.

Role of Knowledge Manager in Viva Learning

Hi,

We don't use Viva Topics but are looking to role out Viva Learning. What is the significance of the Knowledge Manager (as it is in the set-up of Viva Learning in the admin portal) role for Viva Learning and how does it differ from the Knowledge Admin role. It appears that the Knowledge Admin cannot set Knowledge Managers and this has to be done by Global Admin?

We are licensing a few premium users to begin with in order to create Learning Paths for consumption by all users.
