Is the restricted posting feature being removed from Viva Engage communities?

I've heard on the grapevine that Microsoft are planning to remove the option to restrict posts in Viva Engage communities. Is this true or is this an action that can be led by the tenant?

Yammer Community Azure synapse link (Not able to join because of geo location change)

We are not able to join my yammer communities in Viva Engage.

Earlier I was using this group / community for all communicates related to Azure synapse link under Dynamic 365. If I access this link now it redirects me to my internal official communities.

This is because we migrated from US to EU Geo location for Viva Engage. I don't think I can join using my work account now because of this geo change.

If I try using my personal account with sign up option, I am redirected to this page saying "Check your mail to complete registration" but I don't receive any mail.

If I try to login option using personal account I am not able to do so since sign in is only possible using work account ? Find below the error.

Can you let me know how can I join this community ? and I can then using which account ?

Does anyone know how I can get a list of all the members of a Viva Engage Community?

I would like to export the list of names, or, even better, email addresses, of all members of a Viva Engage Community of which I am an Admin, ideally in Excel format.

I know that there is an option to import members using CSV format, but is there also a way to export them?

There are several hundred people in the Community and I don't want to have to scroll down and type out all their names one-by-one!

Disable Sharing Outside of Private Group

We have created a new private group at our Company for women only. We had a user accidentally share a comment to her storyline. We do not want users in the group to be able to share content outside of the group. Is there a way to disable the share option in our group?

Disabling Viva Engage Email Notifications to specific accounts

We have just begun using Viva Engage in our organization, and we want to disable the email notifications to specific mailboxes (efax mailboxes, shared mailboxes, etc.). Is there a way to accomplish this? Can I use a 365 Group to do so? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I was wondering whether is it possible to create Channels like in Microsoft Teams inside a Viva Engage Community? Or is it achieved by something else? It will help in a broader community to have channels, which are focusing on a small part of the whole community goal.

If this can be done in any other way in Viva Engage, that's also okay.

LinkedIn post integration with Viva Engage

Hi , does anyone know if we can integrate LinkedIn posts to Viva Engage? We are currently creating a Viva announcement and copying the LI link to make our team aware of the LI post and then (hopefully) share/comment on it. But it would be great if all company LI posts generated a Viva notification to the company community. Many thanks.

Hi All,

I hope someone can help me fix this issue on the Viv Engage web part on the SharePoint page. Discussions and posts appear fine, but questions are empty on the SharePoint page. However, when I change the layout to "feed", it works and shows the questions, whereas it does not work with the Highlights layout. I appreciate your help in solving this issue.

"A Teams and/or Stream license and permissions are required to produce a live event. Please contact your IT admin."

I love viva enage and the path it has taken.

Now with the co-pilot in preview, things are really coming together.

Just one question has been bothering me for a long time:
Does anyone here know why emojis have not been used on a social platform like this until now?

Yes, you can react with emojis, but what would be much more important is to use emojis when writing a discussion question or post.

And if someone knows the answer, why was it omitted ?

Unable to join some Communities and unable to add members to some Communities

A company I work with has the following problem. Their users are unable to join some Viva Engage Communities and they cannot add new members to these Communities. What is common for all these Communities is that they are not connected to a Microsoft 365 Group. All other Communities (that are connected to M 365 Groups) works fine. The problem started for about a month ago. Anyone here that have an answer to this problem?
