Adding users to a Viva community.

When adding users to a Viva community, it only shows an option to add individual users one by one. Is there a way or is there something in the works to be able to add users based on dynamic groups or 365 groups built out in Azure?

Shopify Campaign Buy X Get Y fullfillment.

Hi,

I understand from an article that campaign articles Buy X Get Y (campaign items) in Shopify must currently be fulfilled manually.

But I’m wondering if anyone has found a workaround for this limitation. Specifically:

- Is it possible to adjust the Shopify Connector so that the fulfillment process can be automated?
- Alternatively, can we fulfill the order in Business Central and then have that fulfillment successfully sync back to Shopify?

Here’s what I’ve found so far:

- There is a synchronization function in Business Central: Sync Shipments to Shopify.

- The Sales Shipment Line (Table 111) in BC has a row number that matches with the Shopify Order Line (Table 30119).

- However, the Shopify Fulfillment Order Line (Table 30144) does not have a row number that links back to the Shopify Order Line (30119).

This creates a problem:

If the order contains both “normal” items and campaign items, then the normal items are fulfilled as expected.
But the campaign items are ignored during the fulfillment process, because of the Shopify Product IDs and Variant IDs are identical.

Has anyone found a way to handle this?

Maybe through a modification of the connector?
Or another method to make sure campaign items also get fulfilled automatically when syncing shipments from BC to Shopify?

Any tips, experiences, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to assign some users that ability to Post within a community without allowing everyone to Post but don't want to make them admins - Is there a way to do this or a plan for this?

Viva Amplify not allowing approvals

Hi there

We are pilot testing Viva Amplify in our tenant and we are finding an issue when trying to send a campaign publication for approval. We are getting an error anytime we try to send something for approval from newly created campaigns. Campaigns that were created a month or so ago are not having this issue.

Has anyone run into this and is there a simple setting to update? Thanks for the help.

Viva Amplify: SharePoint to Outlook layout skewed

I just got access to flexible layouts in SharePoint and am beyond thrilled at the new capabilities.

I am trying to move from our current email newsletter system to Viva Amplify, but am struggling to get the Outlook version to look nice with graphics and text. I can make it look great in the SharePoint view, but not Outlook. I was hoping the flexible layouts would be the solution, but that is not the case.

Is there any work being done to remediate this?

I have attached two screenshots to show the translation from SharePoint to Outlook.

Hello all.

While using Viva Goals, I'm trying to automatically update Key Result status percentage by connecting Excel file.

First I successed to connect, but now "We couldn't authenticate your account credentials." occured.

There are no changes on ownership of Excel file, folder location or others.

Please let me know any possible reason & solution.

Bulk deletion of Glint users

Is there a way to bulk delete users from Viva Glint? When people leave our organisation they are inactivated in Glint but their data remains. I found this page which describes how to delete an individual user, but is there way to automatically bulk delete inactivated users? Ideally we would want to action this this once the users have been inactive for a set period of time. This functionality would make it significantly easier to ensure we are GDPR compliant.

Invite to a EU Viva Engage Community

Hi,

We are having some issues with Viva Engage where we can't connect to external networks. Microsoft is working on the issue but suspects that it is related to EU-to-US network connections.

I'd like to try connecting to an EU network just to verify if this works. Preferably, I'd like to try with Microsoft Partner Network Sverige, but another community would work as well.

I suspect we have issues connect to any external network.

Viva Engage - Articles - what license is needed for end users

I am looking for the answer for my case. We have couple of Viva suite licenses and use Viva Engage for internal communication specifically type of message "Article" which is available only for people who are licensed. Do have to be covered also end users who are just consumers of messages (Articles) in Viva Engage and are not able to create this kind of message?

360 - Are Admins Able to Add Raters On Behalf of Subjects?

Prior to the migration to Viva, the documentation for Glint 360 assessments suggested it was possible to administratively add raters. I don't see a way to do that in the program set up. Is this possible?

We had been looking forward to letting subjects search and find their own unlike our former tools. We did one test with the Entra/Azure search and we decided it was going to frustrate our leaders.

We’re currently using Power Automate to post data in VIVA Engage via the VIVA Engage Post connector. However, despite trying various HTML codes, the images are being posted as links instead of displaying directly.

Glint 360 in Viva Activation Steps Needed?

New to MS communities, so please let me know if I have not make it to the correct place. Our team was anxiously awaiting the release of the 360 program in Viva Glint. Since the most recent release date of August 24th has come and gone this weekend and I don't see it in my tenant and in looking at the MS roadmap it is not showing as rolling out or rolled out.

If the rollout did happen in this most recent release, is there something I need to ask my global admins to update to make it available?

Deliver security modules through Viva

Within the Attack Simulation Training section of the Microsoft M365 security portal, there are a large number of security training modules we can deliver to end users. These modules are usually delivered through email and manual selection.

Is there a way to provide these training modules through Microsoft Viva Learning, and if so, how does one do it?

1. We would like to create quizzes and have them embedded to the training modules. Is this possible?
