Hi, Im programming my own Minecraft Original launcher. But i have problem: how to add Microsoft/Mojang login into my launcher. Im using Java with JPanel at IntelliJ Idea or eclipse. How can i add this login system and check if that person got purchased a minecraft?

Microsoft is updating the Microsoft Azure IoT Developer Specialty certification, and we need your input through our exam blueprinting survey. If you are familiar with the course work or have taken and/or completed the Certification exam, we are asking for just a few minutes of your time to complete a survey that will help us update and refresh it with relevant content!

The blueprint determines how many questions each skill in the exam will be assigned. Please complete the online survey by December 11th, 2020. Please also feel free to forward the survey to any colleagues you consider subject matter experts for this certification.

Ask the IoT Expert: Computer Vision based AI Workloads at the Edge

Recent advances in artificial intelligence allow computers the ability to identify objects within image data and video streams in near real-time. This concept, referred to as “Computer Vision” is now more accessible than ever before, with the advent of services like CustomVision.AI that can allow you to train custom object detection models by providing sample images of the objects of interest.

As computer power is increasing, it is unlocking the ability run accelerated computer vision workloads on small form-factor IoT devices. This opens the door to a wave of AI powered solutions which can perform vision related tasks without the need for heavy computational resources located off-site. This paradigm is often referred to as the Artificial Intelligence of Things or AIOT.

Applications of AIOT can provide benefit to practically any physical space (factories, smart cities, office space etc.) by allowing for solutions that can detect anomalies, alert on visual cues, and provide insight into the environment by using camera feeds as a new means of sensor input operated on by Computer Vision algorithms.

My name is Paul DeCarlo, Principal Cloud Developer Advocate at Microsoft, with a focus on Internet of Things solutions and the application of Computer Vision concepts within Edge environments. I have a passion for sharing how to design and develop AIOT solutions with broad audiences and often do so in the form of developer livestreams and the creation of online training materials.

Are you interested in learning more about how Computer Vision workloads might work for you or are you interested in exploring the field to understand what is currently possible? I am here to answer any and all questions that you might have regarding the topic from all levels, whether you have a specific question on how to implement the appropriate computer vision algorithm to solve a problem for your line of business or if you are interested in where to get started from a beginner perspective.

The Internet of Things is a technology paradigm that involves the use of internet connected devices to publish data often in conjunction with real-time data processing, machine learning, and/or storage services. Development of these systems can be enhanced through application of modern DevOps principles which include such tasks as automation, monitoring, and all steps of the software engineering process from development, testing, quality assurance, and release. In this LearnTV Live session, we will create a DevOps solution for Azure IoT Edge devices. The solution will employ a CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) strategy using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Azure Monitor Application Insights on a Kubernetes cluster.

Today, in celebration of #JulyOT, I’ll be ready to discuss or answer any questions you might have around how to use Windows 10 IoT Enterprise to build the foundation for your intelligent edge devices in our Ask The Expert series.

As a Program Manager on Microsoft Windows IoT Team, I spend my days talking to customers, getting feedback, and building products to enable the next generation of embedded silicon and Internet of Things devices. Now, I want to share that knowledge with you!

Just last week we released an IoT Deep Dive to showcase how to build secure cloud-connected IoT solutions with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. In the video Henry Fieglein from Dover Fueling Solutions described their real world solution which delivers personalized experiences in content and targeted advertising right at the gas pump; Amelia Casciola gave viewers a sneak peek of our new ARM64 support in her technical demo; and I showcased what’s next for Windows for IoT & answering the top questions from the community. (Raspberry Pi, vNext, etc).

I wanted to share a question I recently received around how to build these IoT solutions with a lower Bill of Materials cost. I thought it was interesting because it highlights the growing move of the industry to create more accessible and cost-efficient IoT solutions. The answer I shared was that enabling new smaller silicon, like the Qualcomm SDM850 or NXP i.MX 8M, with more powerful operating systems, like Windows IoT Enterprise, can truly help to democratize access to IoT solutions for all. Ask The IoT Expert: Azure Sphere, Embedded Hardware, and IoT Security

Are you running into questions while working on projects built around Azure Sphere and embedded hardware like the Raspberry Pi? Do you have ideas that you want to share around IoT security in general or the projects you are working on? Today we are kicking off an Ask The Expert series where a variety of Microsoft Azure IoT experts will be starting a conversation to answer any questions you may have.

This week I’m leading the #JulyOT conversation where we are showcasing content on building projects using Azure Internet of Things services, specifically having to do with microcontrollers and embedded hardware.

I’m Dave Glover, a Cloud Developer Advocate, based in Sydney, Australia, with a focus on the Internet of Things. I’m fascinated by the possibilities of embedded, communications, AI, and cloud technologies. I am known to dream in C/C++, C# and Python, and I post on GitHub at https://github.com/gloveboxes, everything is Open Source with an MIT licence.

What has captured my attention is embedded development with Azure Sphere as it addresses IoT security. IoT security is without a doubt the biggest challenge facing the IoT industry and often the most overlooked. IoT solutions built on Azure Sphere are secure by default enabling you to focus on your business opportunity with confidence knowing that security is baked in.

I wrote the Azure Sphere Developer Learning Path which is now published on MS Learn: “Develop secure IoT Solutions for Azure Sphere with IoT Central” and “Develop secure IoT Solutions for Azure Sphere with IoT Hub”. I learned a lot of lessons and you will find my learnings and best practices embedded in the MS Learn modules.

I’ve also just published two “embedded” articles as part of #JulyOT. Both expand on the Azure Sphere Developer Learning path. The topics might be a bit cheesy, but the objective is to illustrate how you can build secure IoT solutions with Azure Sphere and Azure IoT.
