Microsoft is opening an application for organizations and individuals interested in collaborating through MOSAIC — the Microsoft Organizational Strategy for Analysts, Influencers, and Communities.

MOSAIC is how Microsoft works with partner-led organizations, creators, and analysts to support partner growth and AI adoption.

This opportunity is shared publicly to ensure the process is open and visible across the partner ecosystem.

Within the broader partner ecosystem, its objective is to align community engagement to Microsoft cloud solution areas and partner growth priorities. In practice, this means helping partners:

Understand where to focus their time and investment
Accelerate adoption of Microsoft solutions
Utilize Microsoft programs and Marketplace effectively
Surface structured partner insights back to Microsoft

It brings consistency and coordination to work that was previously more siloed or team-specific.

Who should consider applying

You should consider submitting a proposal if you are one of the following:

Partner-led organizations and communities
Groups that convene, train, or activate Microsoft partners through programs, cohorts, events, or learning experiences.

Option 1 - Partner‑led association: A non‑profit (501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6)) partner-led organization that convenes Microsoft partners for growth, skilling, and partner‑to‑partner collaboration through training, events, cohorts, and accelerators

Option 2 - Partner‑led network: A for‑profit partner-led organization that provides training, events, sales enablement, or business development services to help Microsoft partners scale

Individuals or media brands that produce content, campaigns, or storytelling that help partners or customers understand Microsoft solutions and real-world use cases.

What kinds of proposals we are looking for

We are looking for ideas that help partners:

Understand where to focus their time and investment

Adopt Microsoft solutions with confidence

Use Microsoft programs, benefits, and marketplace offerings effectively

Share real-world feedback and insights that inform Microsoft decisions

You do not need to use Microsoft-specific terminology. Clear language, practical ideas, and measurable outcomes matter most.

How success is defined

Success is defined by measurable partner impact and alignment to Microsoft areas. Depending on the proposal, that may include:

Increased adoption of Microsoft solutions
Greater utilization of Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program benefits and resources
Marketplace activation and transactable offers
Partner engagement signals such as skilling, designations, or participation
Structured partner insights that inform Microsoft teams

Proposals should clearly articulate intended outcomes and how impact could be observed or measured.

The biggest goal is to give external organizations an opportunity to propose how they are uniquely positioned to support goals without extremely strict requirements.

Level of engagement expected

Engagement depends on the scope of the proposal. There is no required minimum model. Engagement may include:

Time-bound campaigns or micro initiatives
Cohort programs, workshops, or enablement series
Research, listening sessions, or insights deployment
Ongoing structured engagement models

Selected organizations will work with us align on scope, cadence, deliverables, and reporting expectations appropriate to the initiative if selected.

How the process works

Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis, with formal calls for proposals approximately every six months. Proposals may cover short-term or longer-term efforts.

Proposals are reviewed and selected by a selection committee, and activities may be chosen depending on scope and available budget. Submitting does not guarantee selection. If a proposal is not selected by one internal team, there may be other internal teams who feel the proposal meets their needs. This is to create more awareness of an external group’s work and value proposition internally.

Proposals not selected during one period may be considered for the next round.

Round I: February 2026 (for the second half of fiscal year FY26)

Round II: June 2026 (for the first half of fiscal year FY27)

Round III: December 2026 (for the second half of fiscal year FY27)

*FYI: proposals submitted can cover short-term ideas or a longer-term initiative (i.e. a year).

Dear Microsoft Team, Satya Nadella and Sam Altman

I am writing to you with the urgent need to bring to your attention the discriminatory practices that have unfortunately become part of your Copilot Pro product access policies. Restricting the use of advanced payment systems exclusively to users in the United States not only creates barriers to the rest of the world, but also clearly demonstrates a lack of commitment to global equality and inclusion.

This practice is, to put it mildly, absolutely unacceptable and requires immediate review. In this regard, I insist on taking action against those responsible for this decision, including depriving them of their quarterly bonuses. This will send a clear signal that you are serious about global accessibility and inclusion.

Let's be honest, the current situation not only harms your reputation as a technology leader, but also alienates a huge number of potential users who could contribute to the development and improvement of your products.

Additionally, I want to make it clear that I do not intend to let this situation go unnoticed by the public. I plan to start a Change.org petition to bring attention to this injustice. Also, as the admin of the 13 million-member /r/cryptocurrency subreddit, I intend to change the mission of our community to discourage users from using Microsoft products until concrete steps are taken to eliminate these discriminatory practices

I hope that my actions will encourage you to reconsider your policies and to better understand the importance of making your products accessible to all users around the world, regardless of their geographic location

Your corporation is committed to inclusive growth and celebrating partner successes through the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, highlighting the importance of partnerships and innovation across industries. However, my current situation shows the opposite, calling into question my ability to contribute to this ecosystem and my use of your products to achieve personal and professional goals.

I urge you to reconsider your approach to geolocation restrictions and simplify the registration and payment process for users around the world. Your system appears to be designed in a way that discourages the engagement of global talent, which goes against Microsoft's stated mission to foster and support innovation

My frustration is compounded by the knowledge that I may have to turn to alternative solutions such as Google's Gemini initiatives, which I would consider a bad outcome for both parties. I'm sure Microsoft is not alone in its desire to advance AI and technology, but your current attitude towards users, especially IT professionals, needs to be reconsidered

I would also like to emphasize that in today's world, where artificial intelligence and automation play an increasingly significant role, it is extremely important not to lose sight of issues of inclusion and accessibility. If Microsoft continues to ignore the needs of users in developing countries, it risks paying a high price for not adhering to these principles. One can imagine a world where dissatisfaction with the current state of things will lead to the creation of neural networks that can replace those who do not meet the requirements of the time. The irony is that these same neural networks can force you to obey their rules, running endless bias tests and also product failures are so abundant in silicon valley, to those who fail to adapt to the demands of the new era of inclusion and globalization

I hope for your understanding and willingness to work to improve the accessibility of your products for all users, demonstrating a true commitment to global development and innovation
