🌟Reimaging Renewal: My Digital Vision Board for 2025

As an educator and advocate for learner-centered support, I’ve always believed that clarity and emotional resonance can transform professional growth. This year, I created a digital vision board that blends intention, inspiration, and strategy—designed not just to motivate, but to guide my outreach, PD design, and documentation systems.

Each image, quote, and layout reflects a core value: privacy-first automation, human-first instruction, and resilient systems that empower both educators and learners. I’m sharing it here to spark conversation, collaboration, and maybe even a few new ideas for your own journey.

Let’s build something beautiful together—one vision, one workflow, one act of renewal at a time.

Digital_Vision_Board_America_Learns.pptx

💬 I’d love to see what’s inspiring you this season. If you’ve created a vision board—digital or analog—drop a link or screenshot below. What themes are guiding your work? What visuals keep you grounded? Let’s build a gallery of renewal, one board at a time.

Sections distributed in Onenote are not seen in Teams

It seems to me that if a section is distributed using Onenote, not Onenote for Windows 10, it doesn't appear as a possible section to distribute a page related to an assignment in Teams. Previous sections distributed using Onenote for Windows 10 are all available. Bug or feature?

Suggestions for Inclusive Tools

Hello,

I've been working with students and teachers with Microsoft Translator and using Office Lens to scan in documents to Immersive Reader. After using these products with the students, these are features that would be really helpful:

Using Microsoft Translator, it would be very helpful if, when you take a picture of the document, page, etc., that you could listen to the words on the screen since they are not translated for you, such as Immersive Reader operates.

Using Office Lens to scan documents, etc. in order to integrate with Immersive Reader, it would be very helpful if you could have Translate built into Office Lens so it could translate the document and then read it to you. OR have Translate be directly tied to Immersive Reader.

Thank you,

Jessica Stepaniak

Editing with Learning Tools

The Learning Tools are fantastic. It's great to see them included in Word desktop now which means they can be used whilst editing too!

Unfortunately the page colours are limited to None, Inverse and Sepia. Is the plan for the full range of colours to be included?

PowerPoint limitations in O365

The past couple of weeks I've been showing teachers how to do these things with the desktop version of PowerPoint (see video) https://youtu.be/x5WWXLQdXcY Things like a clickable Table of Contents, Choose-Your_Own_Adventure, making comic strips, cropping pictures into shapes, animations, etc. They've loved it, but almost none of them can be done in the O365 version of PowerPoint. But they can all (except the animations) be done in Google Slides. Since our district has over 28,000 Chromebooks, theses teachers and their students will continue to "Go Google" to use these ideas. I'm trying to advocate for Microsoft over Google, but until PowerPoint in O365 gets more features, our district will keep looking the other way, and all the popular bloggers will continue writing about all the cool things you can do with Docs, Sheets and Slides.
