Events for an agent not picking up the call

Hi,

We have a requirement where the caller should be transferred to voicemail recording when the agent does not pick up the call. Currently, if the agent does not pick up the call, the caller reaches the agent's personal voicemail. Is it possible to interrupt that and redirect the call to ACS voicemail recording mechanism?

The ACS framework send a "CallTransferAccepted" if the personal voicemail is reached. Are there any events which can be used to detect that agent did not pick the call. We tried the Job router, but it does not seem to detect that agent is not picking the call.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Issue with Joining Microsoft Teams Meeting Directly from React Native App Using Azure Communication

I am currently working on integrating Azure Communication Services into a React Native app to enable direct joining of Microsoft Teams meetings. I have followed the official Azure repository for React Native: https://github.com/Azure-Samples/communication-services-ui-library-react-native

Problem Description

The issue I am encountering is that, after providing the access token and Microsoft Teams meeting link, the app does not behave as expected. Instead of directly joining the meeting, the user is redirected to an input fields screen, requiring additional interaction. My goal is for the app to join the Microsoft Teams meeting immediately after entering the access token and meeting link, without any intermediate screens.

Issue

When clicking "Join Call," instead of seamlessly joining the Microsoft Teams meeting, the app redirects to an input fields page. This step is unnecessary in my use case, as I want the app to join the Teams meeting directly. I am unsure whether this issue is due to an incorrect setup in the Azure Communication Services configuration or something related to the code implementation.

Could someone please assist me in resolving an issue where my app redirects to an input fields page instead of joining a Microsoft Teams meeting directly? Thank you!

Failed to create remote connection for private endpoint /subscriptions/175b2/resourceGroups/test/providers/Microsoft.Network/privateEndpoints/tstt (Code: InternalServerError)

This configuration was working correctly until about 20 days ago, but since then, we have been facing this error continuously.

We have strictly followed the Azure documentation to create the application gateway and configure the private link within it: Configure Azure Application Gateway Private Link

Any assistance or insights on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

1. If ACS can support audio url to return response to user over call. My team is working on bot service for PSTN where we take user input and bot returns response as audio url. How can I play this back to user.

2. We want to build this at scale for inbound calls. So what happens if thousands of people are calling the same number at the same time. Basically we want to understand concurrency capability around ACS.

Redirecting Phone Call goes to busy signal...

I have an Azure toll free number I am using to send SMS messages and when this number receives a phone call I want it to redirect to another number that we own outside of Azure.

I have hooked up an azure function to trigger through the event grid on the incoming call event. The function is triggering fine but I get a busy signal. Any ideas? The phone number I am attempting to dial for the example is a weather forecast number for Minneapolis, MN. It works fine when I call it directly from my cell.

<LI-CODE lang="applescript">            EventGridData data = JsonSerializer.Deserialize<EventGridData>(eventGridEvent.Data.ToString());
            var client = new CallAutomationClient("xxx");
            string incomingCallContext = data.incomingCallContext;
            var callerIdNumber = new PhoneNumberIdentifier("+XXXXXXXXX"); // This is the Azure Communication Services provisioned phone number for the caller
            var target = new CallInvite(new PhoneNumberIdentifier("+19523616680"), callerIdNumber);
            _ = await client.RedirectCallAsync(incomingCallContext, target);</LI-CODE>

Azure Communication Services Chat add MicrosoftTeamsUserIdentifier fails

I am trying to build a proof of concept chat app that allows our internal Teams users to join an Azure Communication Services Chat thread.

I have managed to convert the Azure AD token to a Communication Services Token using
identity_client.get_token_for_teams_user()  in Python.

I then create a MicrosoftTeamsUserIdentifier object using the 'oid' attribute from the Azure account.

But when I attempt to add this user to the thread using 'chat_client_thread.add_participants()
it errors out with 403 permissions check failed.
the underlying call to the communication services add api succeeds with a 201 response code.
but after that it somehow gets converted to a 403 response.

Then after that it errors again because the underlying code is expecting all Communication Identifiers to contain an 'id' field and MicrosoftTeamsUserIdentifier does not contain that field.

This is the final error I see at the top level.
<LI-CODE lang="python">File "******/chat-server-poc/.venv/lib/python3.10/site-packages/azure/communication/chat/_utils.py", line 53, in create_dict
    result[participant.identifier.properties['id']] = participant
KeyError: 'id'</LI-CODE>

Looking for guidance or example code.

Thanks.

Seeking Insights on Marketing/Campaign Emails with Azure Communication Services

Hi everyone!

I'm currently exploring options for sending marketing/campaign emails, and I'm particularly interested in knowing if there's a way to utilize Azure Communication Services for this purpose. Has anyone delved into this before? Any insights or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Additionally, I'm curious about the integration possibilities with Sendy and Azure Communication Services. Can someone provide guidance on whether Sendy can be seamlessly integrated with Azure Communication Services, akin to how it works with Amazon SES?

On a broader note, it seems like a great idea for Microsoft to expand the options for marketing/campaign emails within Azure Communication Services. Perhaps having upfront deployment features, surpassing the Microsoft 365 Email Sending Limits, could add significant value.

Your valuable insights on these topics would not only assist me in making informed decisions but could also benefit others in the community. Please feel free to share your thoughts and experiences!

Looking forward to hearing from you.
