Same issue. I just installed the latest feature update, and the task bar is black and  no start menu when it booted back up.

yup i did the same, i installed every update that is available. now i cant do anything here in office lol.
Same issue here too
How about a solution in English?

@rodrizaldo21 It just happened to me. Now I have no sound and nothing windows related works.

@Dtrain17 he says you have to recover your system into a point before the update. But my last recovery point is days ago, looks like my problem wasn't update related

Same problem here. But how are they going to push out an update for the one's that don't have their system setup for auto update????
I was able to roll it back by opening Control Panel via the Task Manager (File > Open new task and type in “control”) and going to Review your computer’s status (under System and Security) > Recovery > Open System Restore and undoing the latest system update.

Alternatively, pressing ctrl+alt+del and shift+clicking on Restart will give you the option to run the system restore before restarting.

This doesn’t work for everyone it seems, but I hope it helps someone.

Additionally, this is essentially what the person in the video posted above does, though the video is super long winded for no good reason lol
this work for me. push Ctrl+Alt+Del then hold down Shift while clicking on the restart. This will put you in recovery mode. from rec mode reinstall last check point.

I got to System Restore and it says it's working but just a black screen with white type so far.
It worked, thanks a lot!

Solution

This one works for me.

Just follow the steps.

Screenshot_2021-09-03-10-47-18-44_40deb401b9ffe8e1df2f1cc5ba480b12.jpg

Open task manager then go to user and select the user account then right click manage user Account. Now you can access the control panel then go to control panal home select date and time just change the date to 2 days future and click ok. Try this this will definitely works
This worked for me after a reboot. Thanks
But it just went back to day. Going to look at the reg fix they published.
