Windows 11 search is not working on secondary displays

Issue:

 

Clicking on the search icon in the taskbar on the primary monitor works as expected. If the same action is performed on a secondary display, it simple transforms the search icon from its default white to a colored icon instead, but does not open the search window as expected.

 

Desired Result:

 

Have the search functionality open/operate in the same manner despite which display the user has select to search with.
