Windows 11 high CPU usage after opening photos in local disk drives

After opening photos in a local disk, I noticed Shell Infrastructure Host used up to over 40% of my computer's CPU and kept running like that until I restarted my computer. This is a serious issue because without being aware of it, users may accidentally cause damage to their computers' hardware as they leave their PCs on with that insane CPU usage of Shell Infrastructure Host triggered by simply opening photos. This issue has been confirmed by several other users on Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/q8zsjd/windows_11_shell_infrastructure_host_taking_up/). One of the members there said that this was caused by a bug in the default photo app and replacing it with a third-party one would solve the problem. I hope this problem will be fixed ASAP since it could cause serious damage to our computers.
