Hi, I've recently installed Windows 11, and I'm having problems with the surround sound.

I have a SteelSeries Arctis 5 with 7.1 DTS Headphone: X Surround Sound.

On Windows 10, I had a lot of different surround sound profiles, respectively for gaming, music, watching videos, etc. And when I switched over to Win 11, they still work when using apps like Microsoft Edge, Spotify, and Netflix, surround sound works fine, and I can hear the differences between my profiles.

But when I play games, surround sound stops working. The audio suddenly sounds flat. It feels like my head is in a jar. I've tried changing sound profiles in-game, but they do nothing now. I've also tried reinstalling the drivers of my headset, tried reinstalling its core program, set Enhance Audio settings on and off, and I even turned on Windows Spatial for Headphones, still doesn't work.

This was working before on Windows 10. I don't know why this wouldn't work on Windows 11. Please fix this issue.

@Niflheimr Having the same problem ^ Please let me know if you have managed to fix this. The only half-solution I've had so far is Steelseries' new "Sonar" which has let me change the sound profiles slightly, it sounds less muffled or "in a jar" like you say.

I have the same issue, its really annoying. The only way I was able to resolve as by using my headphones with a wire instead of with bluetooth. (Bose QC35)
