Widget Padding Removed Randomly - Issue

I have 2 widgets on my MS Launcher home screen that loose their padding at random times.  When I unlock my phone sometimes I notice that the padding was removed, to temporally fix it I do a long press on the widget and select the "padding +" item.  Later in the day I will notice that the padding has been removed again.

 

I have 5 widgets on my home screen and it seems to happen most to the Pandora and Bing widgets.

 

Running version 5.11.1.56317 of launcher on a LG G8 ThinQ

Nokia 8 Sirocco, Android Pie (Android One).

Padding frequently removed from widgets for no apparent reason.

 

The problem has been present for months but has become more persistent recently.

C@Ann_Yao_680 Currently v5.11.4.56354, but this has been an issue for months.

 

Three screenshots attached - 20200414-230133 is the padded version of the Optus widget, which the launcher keeps reverting to. 20200414-230147 shows the first stage of changing the setting back to no padding. 20200414-230204 shows how the widget looks once padding is removed.

 

The setting is per-widget. You will notice the clock is displayed correctly. On previous occasions, the padding setting has changed on the clock widget, which results in the edge of the numbers becoming cropped. However, it is normally the Optus app that loses the setting.

 

For information, Optus is a mobile provider in Australia, and the app shows my data usage. The app is called "My Optus", v5.11 (9 April 2020).

 

If I use android settings to kill the launcher, then let is relaunch, the setting is retained correctly. The setting is lost apparently randomly. If there is a trigger, I can't identify it. It has lost the setting twice today. I haven't restarted the phone or manually updated any apps. The Optus app last updated 5 days ago, so it isn't caused by an app update.
