Occasional Visitor

Any browser's ability to play any video or audio online is gone, even though the video/audio downloads and has internet connection. For example, in YouTube, you can move the slider, and the video player displays the corresponding frame in the video. However, you cannot play it. I've ruled out problems related to browser specificity (I've tried Chrome and Edge, both don't work), and local audio/video problems (local videos and audio play well), website specificity (same problem for YouTube, Netflix, Newgrounds (audio), however the video on the Windows 11 homepage plays, as well as Facebook videos) and internet problems (a decent 30 mbps on a speed test). This is a problem that happens occasionally, but can be fixed with a simple restart. Nevertheless, it's annoying to keep restarting the computer.

The first step you should take is making sure your Java is up to date: "Java (JRE) for Consumers / Java Runtime Environment (JRE)" -> https://www.oracle.com/downloads/#category-java
