There are two Cortanas - Microsoft Launcher and Cortana - the app.

I have ML's version set as my default Assistant (Android 8.0). Sometimes, I want to wake Cortana with a long press of my BT headset's call/answer button but...

1. If I have Cortana - the app installed, she is called instead of ML's version AND, because she is not the default assistant, she can transcribe a text message I dictate but cannot send it

~ or ~

2. If I do NOT have Cortana - the app installed, my phone (LG V30) responds to a long press on my headset's button with a request to set Google's Assistant as the default Assist App.

So, can we get ML's version of Cortana to wake with the long-press of a headset's answer/call button?
