Recently I went into safe mode to delete my mouse from Device Manager. I started Msconfig and set it to boot in Safe Mode. I restarted, deleted my mouse and restarted again. Now I went to run Msconfig, but when I pressed the Start button, I couldn't type in Msconfig because Search was apparently disabled. So was Windows Terminal from the right click menu. And, of course, there is no entry in the Apps menu for Msconfig. What?? I sure hope this isn't by design. Fortunately, I was able to find a run box and run Msconfig to disable Safe Mode again. This will surely confuse an average user.
