Oracle E-Biz Suite Login Issue with Microsoft Edge

Using Microsoft Edge(ME) as the standard browser for Oracle E-biz applications.  Post login, when I click on a function, ME downloads the file frmservlet.jnlp.   The file does not open automatically.  The user need to click the file.  The option "Always open files of type" is disabled for this.  Checked the apps setting and selected the Java(TM) Web start Launcher in the Default apps for this file type.  Still it does not open automatically.
