Only half of the pined icons visible in taskbar.

On 13/09/2021 there was an update in the settings of windows 11 and the name of the update was Windows 11 Insider Preview 22454.1000 (rs_prerelease). After I install this update I noticed that the icons which were pinned were not all there. only half of then were visible. I even tried changing the taskbar settings but nothing helped. Screenshot 2021-09-14 113235.png

I have a similar issue. My laptop's main display shows all icons fine, but my external display only shows some of the icons. There are blank placeholders for the missing ones. I am on 22000.184. Killing Explorer in the Task Manager and restarting it fixed it for now.

@cliftonfoster My issue is different. Anyways can you tell me how to kill Explorer in the Task Manager and restart, wish this method works.

Sure, open Task Manger (CTRL+ALT+DEL, Task Manager) and if you don't see tabs on the top, click More details at the bottom. Click on the Details tab. Scroll down to find explorer.exe. Right click on it and select End task, then End process.

This will kill all of your toolbars and Windows Explorer windows, if open. From within the Task Manager, click the File menu and select Run new task. Type in Explorer and click OK. This should bring all of your taskbars back online.
