No taskbar icons on windows 11

Regular Visitor

I just upgraded to new version of beta windows 11 and I don’t have taskbar icons. Before updating I couldn’t logging into my pc. I am trying to rollback, but it doesn’t work and just shows me a black screen

upd: after 2nd rollback taskbar is back but search and win+shift+s screenshots stop working. It says what restoration is failed.

upd 2: everything working now. i used Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} and sfc /SCANNOW in powershell to fix everything

If you have similar issue you can open recovery tool from Win+r  menu and type SystemPropertiesProtection.

I have the same problem on 22000.132.
Restarting explorer.exe can get back the icon, but I need to do this every time I power on the PC.

Same problem for me. Was only able to run system restore via task manager which I could invoke with my keyboard. None of my four available restore points solved the problem. I couldn't even boot off of a USB drive to reset my PC or reinstall OS because I had no keyboard support when on Boot from USB screen with a properly formatted system USB drive. Contacted microsoft support, got put on interminable hold. Put the computer away for a few days plugged in an online. Somehow it fixed itself. Alll is fine now but I had missing taskbar icons and no windows key for a few days and nothing I did could fix it.
