Scenario 1:
E: = hard disk drive on my pc
Hard disk drive is formatted and empty

Command used to mirror all files from nas\data shared folder to e:\

-- robocopy \\nas\data\ e:\ /MIR /R:1 /W:1 /XD recycle

Creates a mirror of the nas shared "data" folder to hard disk drive e:
This scenario (1) works as intended

Scenario 2:
E: = hard disk drive on my pc
Hard disk drive is formatted and empty
Folder named nas_dir created on E: root

Command used to mirror all files from nas\data shared folder to e:\nas_dir

-- robocopy \\nas\data\ e:\nas_dir\ /MIR /R:1 /W:1 /XD recycle

Creates a mirror of nas shared "data" folder to hard disk drive e:\nas_dir
During and after copying the nas_dir folder and its content, the nas_dir folder (only) becomes hidden on the e: hard disk drive and it is not possible to unhide it. Subfolders are ok and unhidden.

I've been using the same scripts/command in Windows 10 without any issues

I've also encountered similar issues when cutting and pasting folders containing files on a SMB 3 file share (directly on the share from Windows 11).
The destination root folder becomes hidden for Windows 11. (Fortunately the folder is visible on the nas using the software on the nas).

Thanks for mentioning me, but sadly I can't help here :D
