Inverted Borderless Fullscreen Focus

Occasional Visitor

I have noticed during the last couple of days that some games in particular, but also other kinds of software (which is what pushed me to post this), apparently have their focus inverted when you're running them in borderless fullscreen, making them be capped in performance as usual:

  • Windowed - Running as normal
  • Borderless Focused - Capped like it's not focused
  • Borderless Unfocused - Uncapped like it's focused
  • Fullscreen - Running as normal

This is all on Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000.258
