Calendar and notifications have light background at night making them near impossible to read

This started happening after upgrading to Windows 11. As you can see in the picture, both the font color and the background color of the calendar are white or very close to white, making it very hard to read. This happens at night. During the day the background is dark and the font stays white. Is there a way to control these background colors?

Hey Richard. I'm having the same issue right now, and found something that worked.

1. Go to the search bar on your start menu and type in 'Choose your accent color'

2. Choose a suitable color.

3. Select 'Show accent color on Start and taskbar'

I was able to change my calendar from looking like your picture, to the picture I've attached here.
