I accidentally deleted the explorer.exe file Causing me Black screen after bootuo

Hello Everyone
Today I just accidently deleted the Themes folder located in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

I did it to delete the explorer.exe file. I thought that was a virus and deleted it without making any backups. And now I'm stuck. My PC is stuck on a black screen after the bootup. I have an HP laptop. I can access the CMD via the bios key somehow. But in the advanced startup options of Windows 10, I can't access any option requiring Admin password. My account is an Admin but is not showing there. I had made a Meia Creation Tool. To reinstall windows it is asking for a drivers file. I don't have that. Pls help me. All I can access is the CMD with admin privileges. And the last account I left signed in requires a password. So please help me to get that themes folder back. All I can use is CMD. Neither I have any system restore point.

Explorer.exe is not in the Themes folder though, it's located here: "C:\Windows\explorer.exe"

anyhow, if you have access to CMD, try to run this command "sfc /scannow" without quotes.

Also If the explorer.exe is still in the recycle bin and you haven't permanently deleted it yet, you can restore it using CMD,

Hello HotCakeX. I'm not talking about file explorer. I was talking about the explorer.exe that is located in the Themes folder. This one allows us to see the screen. And due it's absence, I'm facing black screen with a cursor. And I have permanently deleted it. I was trying to reset my PC using the Advanced boot options. But there it requires an Administrator account. Thus please help me it shows you need an administrator account to reset your PC but there is no one. The only option I see is "Forgot Password or don't see your account."

you can reset/refresh your Windows 10 using recovery environment,

whatever theme it was, it was probably malicious. try to only install themes from Windows store :)

Thanks a lot sir. But today I fixed it by installing it from a bootable media. Now it works fine.
