I am really confused regarding the page numbering when I first chose the letter-sized booklet. So, when I first open this option, what I see is : page 1 alone, page 2 and 3 together, and page 4. Now, I understand that page 1 and 4 will be on one side and page 2 and 3 will be on the other side. But when I click on insert duplicate page by clicking on the right side of the mouse from page 2 and 3, I now have page 1 alone, page 2 and 3, page 4 and 5, and page 6 alone.
Here is my question: I have to make an annual report which will be printed on boths sides of the papers, the page numbering that Publisher automatically shows which I've just described, should I understand that page 2 is the real page 2 once printed and page 3 will be the real page 3 once printed or for example, page 3 might be the before-last page and page 5 would be the page 3 once printed ? I am really confused. Can someone help me with this ? Thank you!
