To set task for auto approval using Manage rule based on task custom flag field but it will not be updated during task submission. As per native behavior of manage rule in Approval Center, rules can be set on updated field only.
However, I am looking for a solution to have conditional approval rule if a custom flag in a task is marked 'Yes' then auto approval rule shall execute.
Tried different approach but outcome wasn't favorable.
Updating custom field html input text on row selection but display value changes and field is not updated, therefore the auto rule fails.
Updating custom field using api which modifies the values on publish and on task page the values stays same. So, the auto rule fails.
Need suggestion and help.
