I'm using Professional 2016 for project resource planning and I need to vary an assignees units at various terms during a project task duration.
For example, during the first 6 months of a project an assigned resource will need to be assigned 100% to a single task but then in months 6-12 the assignment units for this task will reduce to 50% and this person will be utilised on other projects for the remaining 50% of their time. How can I split a single task line to calculate this reduced demand for a particular resource over a 12 month duration? Can it be done on one single task line or will I need to create two separate task lines for 100% and 50%??
