Project Online %work and actual cost ERROR

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

I start pulling out my hairs!

When manipulating a schedule with Project Online, it happens quite often that the %work starts not working at all. The summary tasks don't populate the %works done anymore (stays at 0%) and the actual cost doesn't match the value entered into %work done. If I click on the menu buttons (0, 25, 50, 75 or 100%), the actual cost is right, but the %work goes back to 0...just craziness.

Anyone has already experienced that ? only me and my colleagues ?

Thanks for your help,

Cheers

JL

Can you check the [Work] value for tasks?@JeanLouis

Simply right click on one of the columns and "insert Column" => [Work]

for the %work roll-up value you should have work assigned to each task.

Hi,

As you were asking the question, I thought trying other columns as well.

The [work} value remains at 0, but if  I use th [% complete] column instead of the [% work complete], it works !

What is the difference between the 2 columns ??

Thanks a lot
