POL: Problem with adding a resource using a script...

Hi Team

We are using a script to automate resources to a project.  When it runs, the name is added in build team and the name can be selected in resources in the schedule.  However, the resource cannot see the project name in their project centre, even after publish.  But in build team, it works fine if we manually add the resource to the project. 
Any ideas on where we are going wrong.

When the script runs, is the resource added with the Committed booking type? It not, the resource will be added using the Proposed booking type, and then team member will not be able to see their tasks in PWA. Hope this helps.
