MS Project - A project on two separate monitors

Copper Contributor

Hello Forum.  Is it possible to put 2 separate project files on 2 different screens/monitors (like you can with Excel)?   I know how to do an Arrange All of project files (on same screen).

Thanks

Hello @willard800 ,

Unfortunately it is not possible to have two instances of MS Project open like you can with Excel.

Hi,
when I was in the same situation then a painful but working workaround was to install a Virtual Machine, set up MSP on it....

It is also possible to extend the Project window to cover both monitors and then use Arrange All on the view tab. Not elegant but it works.
