In Project Web App, one of my project managers is unable to open one of his project schedules in the desktop client in read only or edit mode.
This has occurred twice and both times has been on a master project. The sub-projects in this master project are able to be opened and edited by this manager.
As an administrator, I am able to open and edit this schedule without a problem.
This problem started after the manager approved and denied several task approvals from resources on this project. The manager receives an error message indicating that the schedule cannot be opened because it is uploading resource approvals from the server.
I have tried several things (making the manager an admin, creating special privilege's for that project, going into the schedule myself and saving and publishing it again), but nothing I've done has allowed the manager to open the schedule.
