Dependencies between subprojects possible?

Copper Contributor

Dear All,

I have three subprojects (A, B and C) which I combine in one main project. I added the subprojects using "Insert subproject".

They show up as expected, but it seems that I cannot set dependencies from e.g. a task in subproject A to a task in subproject B.

Is this even possible - or what do I do wrong?

Thanks for your help,

Oliver

Solution

@Oliver_complean From my understanding, you want to link Task from sub Project A and Task from sub Project B? Yes you can do that in Ms Project. Just select the two Task you want to be linked then click the Link icon. Please see my attachment as example.
