Constraint Types defaulting to Start No Earlier than

hi,

when enterning new tasks in MS Project (Office365).  The task defaults to "Start no Earlier than" and i would like it to stay as As soon as possible".

The project is set that each new task defaults to current date.  Does that need to be changed to something else like start date of project?  Does that impact project constraint date or is there something else that i am not aware of that affects this parameter.

The SNET constraints are appearing automatically because of the Project Options setting that causes each new task to Start on the current date. Change this setting to Project Start and your problem will disappear. Hope this helps.
